Tate Yardley is a 2022 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Ovalo, TX who attends Jim Ned. He has a good frame with present strength, and ran the sixty yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Primary pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch and has an easy, fluid motion that allows him to conserve energy and hold velocity throughout his outing. He has a live arm and stays on plane, throwing his fastball that worked up to 90 mph to all four quadrants of the zone. He throws from a high vertical arm slot that creates a lot of carry on the fastball. His slider is a sharp breaking ball that features impressive late two plane movement that he was able to throw for a strike as well as in the dirt for swings and misses. Secondary third baseman that has athletic movements and the same strong arm that he displayed on the mound. His hands are soft and clean, allowing for quick transfers and firm throws. Offensively he has an open stance and uses a big leg kick to load his weight back. He creates natural loft and swings with intent, doing damage to baseballs, especially on the inner half. Named to the Sunshine South Top Prospect List. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
