Barritt Ross is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lewes, DE who attends Cape Henlopen. From his primary OF position, Ross worked out of a medium athletic build flashing quick transitions and clean arm mechanics to produce consistent throws on the bag. He came through the ball well and generated solid momentum downhill, touching 85 mph. On the bump, Ross worked exclusively from the stretch with lots of shoulder separation and effort to constantly pound both sides of the plate. He was efficient in his one inning of work and will continue to see the offspeed refine in the future. Offensively, he started from an even stance with compact hands to drive the ball gap to gap with carry and backspin. Power potential will continue to increase as the build fills out. Ran a 7.24 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
