Jaylend Clemmons is a 2022 OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Southport, NC who attends South Brunswick. Large frame with an athletic build. Ran a 6.90 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions moving around the outfield, stays under control and balanced, good line to the ball and carries momentum through it while showing good arm strength clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Righthanded hitter, loads well on the back side and strides in hard, works to elevate while showing excellent bat speed and very evident strength, got mistimed in his round and struggled with the barrel but has obvious components on the offensive end that project well as he finds the barrel more consistently. Good student. Named to 2021 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
