Blake Hall is a 2023 SS/2B, MIF, OF with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends West Brook. Compact athletic build. Primary middle infielder that showed advanced defensive actions to the left of second. Quickness in the first step with quality feel for the leather to match, arm action is a bit stiff at times. Throws across showed carrying accuracy. At the plate, he sets up with even base working into a toe tap timing mechanism. Presets the load a bit and lacks flow in the swing. Bat path displays loft and could benefit from added muscle mass. Evident secondary guy on the mound, but threw a ton of strikes down in the zone. Simple repeatbale operation with athleticism down the plane. Changeup was intriguing with some tumbling depth to it. 6.80 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
