Ryan Stevens is a 2023 C/IF with a 5-11 184 lb. frame from Eureka, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front, fast hands and gets it out of glove quickly, longer arm action through the backside into a tight release, arm plays down to second base. Works through the ball with footwork in the infield, shorter arm action through the back and shows carry across the diamond, shows athleticism in actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; loads hands back at start of swing, keeps hands inside the ball coming through the zone. Shows quickness and whip in hands, works to all fields, best when working on a linear plane, occasionally opens front side early in swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
