Eric Willi is a 2026 C/CIF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Weston, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Large build with well-proportioned strength present and some projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a slightly open stance and gets out of the crouch with some urgency. Displayed softness in the hands when receiving before working into a midline transfer. Reaches for the baseball at times. Separates into a medium arm path and consistent release point. Delivered accurate throws to the base. Recorded arm strength up to 70 mph with a pop time of 2.20 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a compact hand set-up. Utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing before working into a direct stroke. Produced consistent contact to the pull-side during batting practice. Has the ability to create carry and backspin at impact. Flashed a budding power tool that should develop nicely with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 7.62 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
