2021 13U Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Tanyon Reis is a 2025 C/RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-0 109 lb. frame from Fall River, MA who attends Diman Reg Voc Tech. As a primary C, Reis stayed down on the ball well and displayed a compact arm action that had intent to release the ball quickly and consistently. As he adds strength and matures, velocity on his throws should increase. From the bump, Reis worked from a 3/4 slot with a strong lower half that moved directly downhill. He has projection in his build and repeatable mechanics to pound the zone. Offensively, Reis started from a narrow slightly open stance with compact hands inside the baseball. He produced a line drive approach to the middle opposite field and should gain a power element in the future. Ran a 9.08 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
