Ty Magee is a 2023 1B/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Aurora, TX who attends Northwest. Ran a 7.12 60 yard dash. Solid run tool and has good athleticism to his game. Strong arm in the field and throws have good carry. Soft hands and shows good hands for first base with good scooping ability and flexibility on stretches. At the plate, drops his hands a bit to create leverage in the swing. There's good strength in the swing and uses the lower half well to drive the ball. Good feel for the zone and swings with good intent. His highest exit velocity was 82 MPH. Excellent student in the classroom.
