Kent (KJ) Moon is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Statham, GA who attends North Oconee. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows clean glove worok out front at the ball, moves well to backhand, arm plays across the diamond and shows carry on throws, can change arm slots; quick steps to the ball in the outfield, medium length to arm action, fields it cleanly, ball comes out of hand well with carry and accuracy to intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, incorporates physical strength well into swing, long and extended path through the zone and point of contact. Creates lift in path and able to impact the ball hard to pull side, can hit them high as they are far, power plays very well to pull side with solid bat speed through the zone. Excellent student.
