Shane Connell is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B, SS with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Klein Oak. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.74 seconds. Graded out best on the mound in this look, short stride with arm still deep at foot strike, fastball worked 82-85 mph with plane from overtop slot, showed curveball with bite and 11/5 shape. Hit from even base, small stride, gets onto front side, minimal weight transfer, steep swing with opposite field approach. Showed the arm strength in the infield, threw 85 mph across with average hand actions. Good student, named to 2021 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
