Caid Finn is a 2024 2B/SS, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Hoover. Long, lean frame with wiry strength and good twitchy action with plenty of room to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Primary IF, with good hop to his step, moving well through the ball and displaying nice lateral quickness. Emerging glove work, secures ball well and squares up well to throw. Delivered mostly accurate throws up to 79 mph across the diamond and reached 82 mph on throws from the outfield. Reps from the OF were solid, good midline transfer and squares up fine. Moves well defensively overall. Distinguished himself with the stick, LHH using an even stance and very quiet load, good handset creating excellent bat speed. Got better throughout his round, really cutting it loose in the last few swings showing loft and power to the pull side. Big time performer in game competition, on time, battling in 2-strike counts and finding numerous loud barrels. Should continue to add power with time. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
