Quint Mullen is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Cedarpark, TX who attends Cedar Park. Medium size, athletic frame. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. An infielder with developing fundamental footwork, some ability to move laterally, developing glove actions and an above average throwing arm across the diamond. Hit from an even base and slightly open stance with leg lift timing. Shorter compact swings with an uphill bat path through the zone. Showed some hand separation and balance throughout the swing with the physicality to hit with some authority to all fields. Showed fastball/curveball on the mound out of a hybrid style windup. Creates some downward plane on pitches and locates well in the lower part of the strike zone. Fastball primarily in the upper 70's and the curve showed some depth. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
