Kade McLeroy is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 144 lb. frame from Griffin, GA who attends Pike County. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple and repeatable swing approach, short downhill swing plane that maximizes contact, works middle of the field and away with an accurate barrel. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Has quick and active feet in the infield on defense, gets rid of the ball quickly with a compact arm slot and makes accurate throws, actions and arm strength profile to second base in the future. Also pitched, side step/hand drop delivery with a 3/4's arm slot, fastball worked in the upper 60's with some cutting life, also threw a sweeping soft slider. Excellent student.
