Cayden Box is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from San Angelo, TX who attends San Angelo Central. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.67 seconds. Stood out defensively in the middle infield, bounce to actions, clean hands out front in any direction, advanced backhand, quick release with zip on throws, clocked up to 80 mph across. Hits from slightly open stance, upright, lift and replace stride, steeper entry out of launch position, compact stroke with pull-side approach. Excellent student, named to 2021 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
