2023 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jake Stephens is a 2025 C/RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Xenia, OH who attends Wilmington. Recorded a 8.01 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and medium build. Knee-down setup on throws with a pretty quick release and some arm strength. Longer arm swing to a 3/4 slot release with a 2.18 pop time. Left-handed hitter with a medium base and drift into contact. Middle-to-opposite field approach with downhill swing plane and deep impact. Earlier start with timing will allow impact more out front and increase his impact in the air and to the pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
