Freddy Noel Beruvides Jr is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Palm Beach Gardens, FL who attends The Benjamin School. Big and strong stocky build. Has a high 3/4's arm slot with some cross fire action at release, creates lots of angle to the plate, delivery stays compact and repeatable, works quickly and throws strikes. Has a full four pitch mix with feel for each pitch. Fastball worked in the low 90's with some sink down in the zone. Slider has good power and late darting action, lands it well glove side, takes off the slider for a bigger curveball. Nice firm change up has good arm speed. Gets in a rhythm and carves up hitters with efficiency and is fun to watch pitch. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Virginia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
