Grey Brannen is a 2022 1B/3B/OF with a 6-7 220 lb. frame from Elko, GA who attends The Westfield Schools. Extra Large frame with a physical build showing strength throughout. Mature strength for the age. Ran a 6.83 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, confident with the leather scooping up ground balls and picking throws in the dirt. Moves well for size as he stays under control. Proper footwork present around the bag and while turning two. Experience showing and is fundamentally sound. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he fields the baseball out front. Transfers and releases showing a quick arm. Up to 85 mph from the outfield with general accuracy. Right-Handed Hitter, starting a touch wide with high hands behind the ear. Strides out and lands balanced before working into a physical cut. Goes after it with intent as he looked to donate baseballs over the fence. Did so with success as he drove one over the centerfield fence into the trees during games. Recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph off a tee. Projects as a big time power bat. Good Student. Verbal commit to Northwest Florida State. Named to Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
