Jake Congrove is a 2023 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-11 199 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends Shawnee Mission Northwest. Strong and physical build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, hits out of a semi-crouched open stance with a simple leg lift trigger, has a short swing with an inside path to the ball, line drive swing plane, has the strength to generate some bat speed and can develop more as he learns to turn the barrel. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, does a good job of getting his hands out front and fielding the ball cleanly, had active feet on his back hand, compact arm action with a quick release and developing arm strength.
