Duncan Santos is a 2022 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends Campbell. Large frame with a young build showing room to add strength to the equation. Ran a 7.75 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Fast paced leg lift to the belt before striding out. Shorter stride as he released from a three-quarter arm slot. Attacked down in the zone and proved to have good command of his arsenal. Fastball up to 84 mph with cutting action to it at times. Mixed in a solid changeup with fading action that he tunneled well off the fastball. Utilized a similar arm speed as well. Rounded three pitch mix off with a breaking ball showing slurvy actions that is work in progress but proved he could land for strikes. Left-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before striding out. Stays short to the baseball with a downhill path. Hands generating all the bat speed as the upper half is relied on. Found barrels and when timed up, proved to have some pop in the swing. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
