Sonny Sosa is a 2022 OF/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends Canyon. He has a large frame that is presently strong and room to add even more strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.63 seconds. He is a primary outfielder that breaks down to field the ball cleanly before using a long, circular arm action to throw to the base. He did a nice job keeping the ball on a line and on target with his throws. Left-handed hitter at the plate, he starts with a wide, slightly open stance and uses a simple stride to load. His swing is linear and has some natural loft to it, allowing him to lift balls into the outfield. He does his best work when hitting balls to the pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
