2021 National Underclass East Showcase
Evan Weaver is a 2022 C/RHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Keedysville, MD who attends Boonsboro. Medium frame with a lean build and good room to fill out. Ran a 7.28 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up low in his stance, gains good ground as he comes through the ball with a longer transfer but quick arm that generates solid carry down to the bag. Also pitched, has an athletic and balanced delivery with smooth actions and a clean arm as he generates good run on the fastball and shows feel for a pair of solid secondary offerings in a slurve-shaped breaking ball with good depth and a straight changeup. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a narrow base; swings hards with quickness to his hands and good feel for the barrel working on a line drive swing plane and generating solid contact to the middle of the field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
