Jase Bruner is a 2027 OF/RHP, MIF, UT with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Fairfax, IA who attends Prairie. He has a medium frame for his age with a thin, athletic build and lots of physical development ahead of him. Ran the 40-Yard Dash in 5.50 seconds. Primary infielder that showed quick actions to the ball and worked around the ball well. He knows how to get his body into a good fielding position and showed soft hands for his age. Secondary right-handed pitcher that pitches exclusively from the stretch and uses a knee to chest leg kick. He works in line with the plate and gets extended well at release. He throws with a long arm action and delivers from a 3/4 slot. He did a nice job of living in the zone with his fastball and worked ahead of hitters. His curveball has 12/6 shape with sinking action. He also showed a changeup that has solid velocity separation. Right-handed hitter that starts with a wider base that is slightly open. He uses a toe tap trigger for timing and stays short to the ball with his barrel. He has a line drive approach and looks to hit the ball back up the middle. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
