Abraham Oropeza is a 2024 3B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-11 166 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Montwood. Slender build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Primary infielder, showed the ability to make the routine plays, but is still developing infield actions. Was able to clock up to 72 mph on throws across the diamond. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a side step delivery and a quick, short arm action. The fastball sat 74-77 mph with arm side run, worked in a curveball that sat 65 mph with good spin and decent break. Right-handed hitter, hits from an even base with a small leg kick. Swung the bat with good intent and showed the ability to consistently have good rhythm. Has a natural loft in his swing, showed pull side pop. Excellent student.
