Joey Swartz is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Commerce Twp, MI who attends Lakeland. Medium frame with slender, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Hits from spread, even-based stance with high back elbow, lots of moving parts in load, pushes hands out of launch and creates inside-out path, opposite field approach as a result, flashed some linear strength. Primary catcher, sets low, stays back in crouch, segmented footwork out of crouch, gains ground to side of plate, quick release, clocked up to 69 mph. Also took infield reps, shows good lateral agility with good overall athleticism, hands work out front, clocked up to 70 mph across. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
