2023 New York Workout Showcase (Thursday)
John Delgadillo is a 2025 C/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends P27 Academy. Delgadillo works from a physical athletic build with evident strength proportioned throughout. As a primary C, he gained plenty of ground in the footwork with solid arm speed generated up to 78 mph. He kept the transfer in-line and consistent with lots of effort behind the release. From the IF, he displayed smooth clean glove work with effortlessness to the actions and zip across the diamond up to 85 mph. The arm strength translated to the OF where Delgadillo worked through the ball effectively and created good downhill momentum up to 88 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a wider even base with a high compact hand set, shifting the weight well through contact to generate loud barrels gap to gap. He displayed clear strength in the hands with backspin created on the baseball. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
