Darnell W Parker Jr is a 2023 SS/2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Carrollton, VA who attends IMG Academy. Athletic build with good present strength. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Very athletic actions in the middle infield on defense, has impressive body control, fast and sure hands fielding the ball, throws well from multiple arm slots, high level defender. Right handed hitter, has a very rotational swing with limited lower half shift, has quick hips and fast hands, pull approach with some bat speed and jump off the barrel. Has shown significant improvement over the past year as he's got stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Washington State.
