Max Bettis is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-7 235 lb. frame from Topeka, KS who attends P27 Academy. Extra large frame and build with a good amount of present physicality. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift up to the belt with a fuller arm action in the back. Slight hook in the back and located mostly to the arm side of the plate. Fastball featured natural cutting life in the upper-80s, topping out at 91 mph. Lands on a firm front landing foot and looked to get the fastball to both halves of the dish. Flat sweeper for a breaking ball with up to 14" of horizontal movement on the pitch. Got some empty cuts on the sweeper when buried low in the dirt. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Kansas State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
