Christopher Stegmuller is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Baldwin, NY who attends Baldwin. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows quickness to footwork on the approach and shows a clean transfer out of the glove, compact arm action through the back and release, moves well to the ball, fields the ball out front, remains taller through release, arm strength will continue to develop on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a tight hand set with a higher back elbow in the box. Utilizes a short hover leg lift and works with a contact oriented approach; stays short through the zone and remains compact to the ball, shows some quickness to hands wiht occasional lift through the ball at point of contact, will continue to add strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
