Aaron Jett is a 2022 SS/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Waxahachie, TX who attends Maypearl. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, glove works out in front well, short arm, clean transfer. Separates early then gets into his crow hop across the diamond. From the outfield, fields off to the side and carries his momentum well to and through the baseball. Shows good comprehension for his footwork. Throws stay online to all bags. Was gunned at 81 mph to the plate in the outfield workouts. At the plate, uses a wide and upright stance with a simple stride trigger. Gets out on his front side, handsy overall foundation. Looks to use the middle of the field, excellent student in the classroom as well.
