2017 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Justin Perreault is a 2019 RHP/2B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Homewood. Medium build, skinny frame with loose limbs, plenty of room to fill with added strength. Ran a 7.32 60 and dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step into overhead windup, high leg kick with a low hand separation, loose arm action to a 3/4 arm slot, short stride landing slightly closed, good arm strength with solid arm speed, would like to see lower half utilized more for added velocity, fastball worked in the low-80s topping out at 84 mph, mixed in an 11-to-5 curveball with solid feel. Also took reps in the infield, showcased athleticism to the baseball with good lateral agility and balance, clean gather and exchange to hand, accurate arm with the ability to throw on the run from multiple arm angles. Righthanded hitter, high hand set with a high back elbow, leg lift trigger, bat waggle at load, linear path to contact, harder contact will come with added strength. Good student.
