Ellington Jefferson is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends The Oakridge. Posted a 6.86 in the 60 yard dash. Primary 3B, physical athlete that moves very well around the field and has a good run tool. In the infield his actions were very smooth overall, the approach and footwork showed sync along side glove skill and a solid arm throw throwing across. In the outfield he plays with good motor working downhill with intent through the ball with easy actions and the arm will carry fine here as he progresses. RIght-handed pitcher, topped the fastball out at 81 mixing a slider with late tilt and bite to it. Worked out the stretch with a medium leg lift and short stride downhill. Solid size and good use of it has a future as an effective arm on the mound. Switch hitter, development on both sides is heading in the right direction. There is more impact potential on the right side, flashed promising bat speed and barrel control. Good student. Named 2021 South Prospect Top Prospect.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
