Averell Arnold Jr. is a 2024 3B/MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash. Wiry and lean frame with lots of room to add strength and weight. Primary infielder, moved around well showing quick feet and some bounce on the dirt. The hands work nicely out front and showed a faster arm with throws up to 83 mph across. Right-handed hitter, flashed some quick-twitch fibers with fast hands and solid bat speed. Really short and compact stroke that will find the barrel. Overall strength will contribute to more consistency. Also smoked a triple in the right-center gap in game. Athletic and fundamentally sound player with a strong base on both sides. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
