2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase
Garrett Allen is a 2026 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Clarksville Academy. Garrett is a lean athlete with an average sized frame. He shows very deliberate actions in the outfield without much fluidity in movements. His arm speed is a bit slow due to no lower half drive. Accuracy on throws was good. Garrett has narrow stance the batter's box with a high leg kick to hand load. There is a lot of action in his pre-swing setup causing timing issues throughout completion. Simplifying his hands and movements will allow him to create better timing and get his bat into the zone with more consistency and more contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
