Christian Kalac is a 2022 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Christ The King. Medium build with some compact strength. Slow paced delivery on the mound with a side step start and pause, deep arm action in back, long stride out front, will throw up hill at times, especially from the stretch, with his long stride out. Low 80's fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight but gets on hitters well and will throw inside to hitters frequently. Slurve type breaking ball has some depth at times and is landed consistently for strikes. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load and an open start, leans back and swings hard while imparting some top spin, aggressive swing approach. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Showed his athleticism well both in the infield and outfield on defense, long and loose arm action with good carry on his throws, has an idea on footwork from both positions. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
