2024 Midwest High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Adam Bovinett is a 2025 3B/1B with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Caseyville, IL who attends Collinsville. Larger frame with strength present throughout. Primary third baseman, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and funnels it cleanly to the chest. Stays behind the backhands and picks it well. Releases the ball from a three-quarters arm slot. Displayed developing range and athleticism in the dirt. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 78 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in a narrow, slightly open stance with a high back elbow and relaxed hands. Utilizes a small toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Creates extension through the zone with some leverage at impact. Gets rotational and long through the zone at times. Has present strength in the hands with consistent barrel skills to the pull-side. Offers intriguing power potential. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran an 8.16 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
