Austin Gaskins is a 2024 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Willis, TX who attends Willis. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.38 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, simple athletic delivery with a loose low-stress operation and clean high-slot release; good feel for the zone with three pitches, up to 80 with the fastball while showing confidence in the breaking ball, projectable spin and can kill spin on the changeup with intent, good rhythm and comfort as a whole. Also plays infield and outfield, easy mover and athletic enough at both spots, gets to spot and works through the ball, solid arm strength at both spots. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow, moves in on time and hands work well, swings it hard on a clean path, will project well to added strength and produces easy line drives at present. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
