Cole McLean is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Campbellsville, KY who attends Taylor County. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.85 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a higher leg lift. Balanced throughout as he drops down before working into a medium arm circle in the back. Three-quarter slot release while staying direct to dish. Fastball up to 76 mph with good command of the pitch. Also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball proving he can get swing and miss with it. Upside on the mound present. Secondary Outfielder, took a quick first step and was efficient with his routes into the baseball. Slows down momentum at gather to make sure he fields it cleanly. Full arm swing and released with a fluid arm stroke. Up to 73 mph with throws. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out to start with active hands. Small weight transfer as he strides out before working into a linear cut. Throws hands as he looks to let the upper half generate bat speed. Looks to drive it back up the middle with a table setter type approach. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
