Will Truitt is a 2024 3B/RHP, UT with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Marion County. Recorded a 7.23 second 60-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a big frame and solid build. Corner actions and footwork moving around in the infield. Two-hand funnel out front and throws across the diamond at 81 mph. Worked in the outfield with deliberate footwork to gather. Clean exchange to a quick arm slot and throws to the bases at 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with quick mechanics down the slope and some life on the fastball up in the zone at 82 mph (2063 RPM). Featured a four-pitch mix with curveball at 68 mph (1871 RPM), changeup at 68 mph (1547 RPM) and a cutter with short lateral action at 77 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open strong base and high hands setup in the box. Short stride to even with linear bat path through the zone. Controls the barrel through the middle and pull side with strength out front. Excellent student.
