Cade Martinez is a 2025 SS/MIF, UT with a 5-5 144 lb. frame from Desoto, KS who attends De Soto. Young, square shouldered frame with a high waist and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.78 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows quick feet with short strides moving towards the ball, approaches and positions well behind it, fields the ball otu front and looks it in, occasionally gets uphill with release, arm strength will continue to develop moving forward. Switch-hitter, showed a more refined stroke from the right side, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at start, uses a leg lift trigger for timing, works on a linear path and shows looseness in swing while creating extension out front. High hand set and back elbow from the left side, bat wrap at start with an open stance, gets closed moving into contact and gets the barrel out front.
