2024 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Walker Hudson is a 2026 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Blackshear, GA who attends Ware County. Tall and physical build. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands in the stance, swings the bat with intent and showed great bat speed. Real impact out front and drove the ball all over the field with tons of strength to both gaps. Lived on the barrel throughout the round and in game action. Primary catcher, higher side saddled setup behind the dish, athletic out of the crouch, comes out quick, clean exchanges and a compact arm action to a three-quarters release point. Has good arm strength and throws were right on the bag, recorded throws up to 77 mph and a pop-time of 1.94. Tremendous student. Named to 2024 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
