Bryant James is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Campbell. Medium frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who showed off athletic movements during a smooth round of defense. Took choppy steps approaching the ball and threw uphill to the bag. A right-handed hitter with the hands tight to the body and a high back elbow. Keeps a wider base in the box and gets the hands through the zone to drive the ball. Showed some bat speed with strength in the hands, being able to piece together a good round of BP. Produced 84 mph exit velocity. Great student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
