Keegan Gipson is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 215 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Holy Cross. Thick young build with plenty of strength potential. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a smooth and fluid swing with good extension through contact, hits through the ball well with good plane to his swing, gets good young jump to the pull side when squared up. 9.32 runner in the sixty, plays first base on defense, has good fundamental footwork and soft hands receiving the ball, will continue to improve defensively with work on his lower half quickness and athleticism. Also pitched, simple delivery with a short stride out front. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball, also frequently mixed in a slow curveball and pitched to contact with both pitches. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
