2022 Florida Prospect Showcase
Dominic Negron is a 2024 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Cypress Creek. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.85 runner in the sixty, will keep getting faster as he gets stronger. Has athletic actions in the outfield with good rhythm through the ball, has a short arm stroke with good arm speed and some carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a level line drive swing, upper body rotational swing, has some strength at contact with more to come, turned the barrel over well when he was out front. Also pitched, works from a side arm slot that created problems for right handed hitters. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with plenty of running life and got the pitch to both sides of the plate. Good student. Named to the Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
