Mason McLeod is a 2026 3B/RHP/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends University Christian. Stocky strong young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a good sequence into his swing, deep hand load, long and extended swing, has strong hands and can drive the ball to the middle of the field, has the tools to improve as a hitter with adjustments. 8.06 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has soft hands at the ball and funnels well, moves well to his left, long arm action. Also catches. Took a turn on the mound, side step delivery with a high front side going down the mound, clean arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, pretty simple and repeatable mechanics, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with good downhill angle, got his fastball to both sides of the plate well. Flashed good curveball spin and shape with some downer action.
