Ramziel Ortiz is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Poinciana. Medium to Large frame with an already filling out build showing physicality. Ran a 7.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Lifts above the belt as he loads up before working down the mound. Online to target as he worked with a fully extended arm in the back before releasing from a higher slot. Worked with a three pitch mix. Fastball up to 81 mph that showed some cut to it at times. Mixed in a changeup & an 11-to-5 breaking ball as well. Aggressive in his approach as he went right after batters. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an even, spread out stance. Low leg lift to stride as he lands in a balanced position. Fast paced in his motions as he works into a longer swing path. Looks to pull the baseball when possible. Power showing to the pull-side when he impacts out front. Good Student.
