Brock Donnelly is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Hough. Large frame with a physically mature build. Broad shoulders and a filled out lower half. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance proving to be athletic in his stance. Received the ball out front before working into transfer. Takes time on transfer to make sure it is clean. Short arm stroke with accuracy around the bag. Pop time of 2.04 seconds during drills. Feel for the position present. Left-handed Hitter, high hands behind the ear to start before striding out. Gets into swing very early as he looks to pull the baseball. Linear path as he looks for the hands to create bat speed. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
