Riley Jackson is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Eau Gallie HS. Recorded a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with a well-proportioned frame and lots of strength. Primary catcher with a shorter arm action and solid footwork. Comes out of the hand well with a quick release. Very good arm with a best recorded pop time of 1.92 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and quick hands. Strong kid with plenty of wrist strength. Full shift and brings the lower half forward. Gets the ball into the air with regularity. Solid power upside with a present hit tool and good defensive value. Great student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
