Nicholas Terefenko is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Freehold, NJ who attends Freehold Borough. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Runs well for his size, 6.90 in the sixty. Primary third baseman with athletic actions, works to the ball well with a quick first step, has a quick and compact arm action with good carry across the diamond, can get his glove in position sooner fielding the ball. Right handed hitter, has good lower half actions and shift to the ball, showed quickness in his hands and the ability to create some leverage out front, handled the barrel with consistent line drive contact. Also pitched, works from the stretch with the same compact arm stroke he showed at third base, works down the mound well and repeats his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, worked his fastball to both sides of the plate and threw lots of fastball strikes. Threw a slurve type breaking ball as his second pitch with some depth at times. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
