Ozzie Ortiz is a 2027 SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Yuma, AZ who attends Kofa. Medium height with a lanky frame that has lots of potential to add bulk with maturity. Ran a 7.16 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, lots of energy and good pre set up that helps with a direct first step and range to the ball. Fluidity on all ground balls and easy transfer skills. The arm was accurate and will develop zip. A right-handed hitter, wider base with short and simple movements that help with a direct path and lots of accuracy with the barrel. Middle line drive approach and good bat to ball skills. A secondary pitcher, filled it up with a FB/CB combo and uses his short arm stroke and good timing at release to attack hitters.
