Nicholas Romano is a 2021 SS/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Recorded a 7.31 second 60-yard dash time. Good sized frame with athleticism and physicality throughout. Primary shortstop with a quick release and big windup. Clean glove actions and smooth transfers with arm strength recorded up to 83 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a deeper hand load, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Gets out in front but has solid bat speed. Leg lift forward and swings with intent. Ball jumps off the barrel when squared and will improve consistency of contact by toning down mechanics slightly. Tremendous student.
